We are required by law to obtain W9 information from you when making a reportable payment to you. If you do not provide us with this information, your payments may be subject to 28% federal income tax backup withholding. Also, if you do not provide us with this information, you may be subject to a $50 penalty imposed by the Internal Revenue Service under section 6723.

Federal law on backup withholding preempts any state or local law remedies, such as any right to a mechanic's lien. If you do not furnish a valid TIN or SSN, or if you are subject to backup withholding, the person or entity paying is required to withhold 28% of its payment to you. Backup withholding is not a failure to pay you. It is an advance tax payment. You should report all backup withholding as a credit for taxes paid on your federal income tax return.

Basically if you don't want to pay taxes on the income from your medicine you're better off vending to dispensaries that pay cash.

General Information

Green Mammoth welcomes patient-vendors with high quality medication in all grades. We pride ourselves in having the best quality medication, flowers, and concentrates.

Green Mammoth vending procedures have changed to accommodate new requirements.

Green Mammoth will view the medicine; then we will discuss with the vendor a low shelf, mid shelf, and top shelf price for the type of medicine.

Green Mammoth will then request 2 grams for sampling-testing.

Green Mammoth and the patient-vendor will then note the current weight of the product using scales certified by The National Conference on Weights and Measures.

Green Mammoth must then hold the entire product while waiting for sample results to ensure the product will not be tampered with.  The patient-vendor will then be given a  pick-up date no later than 1 week (7 days) from the drop off date.

At time of pick up, sample results will be discussed. The patient-vendor will be paid a agreed upon amount based on the prior visit.

Failing medicine will simply be returned to the vendor.

Vending hours are Wednesday  – Friday, 12 pm - 2:00 pm.

Basic Requirements

All vendors must have a California photo ID, in addition to a valid Doctor Recommendation.
Flowers should be at least full pound plus sample size (456 grams) of each flower strain.
Concentrates should be at least 28 grams per strain.
All medicine is required to be free of mold, mildew, pests, chemicals and hair.

Please don't be discouraged if we do not purchase your medicine. We are happy to tell you what you could do differently to be considered for purchase in the future.

Top Shelf Flowers Requirements

Our pricing is based on the over-all appeal of the flowers. This is broken down into three categories: Size, Smell, and Looks. Flowers must pass in all three categories to receive top shelf payment, as well as based on the needs for the particular type of flowers.

We recommend that you bring extra medication to supplement for possible weight loss or unacceptable finds.

Top Shelf flowers are:

Flowers are all larger than a nickel
Flowers are trimmed as closely as possible with minimal leafage.
Flowers have a good, strong, smell
Crystals are visible to the naked eye

As space and finances permits, the buyer will look at your medicine and either:

schedule you to return when we have space for your medicine,

or tell you how you may improve your medicine for a later purchase.
